Hello! I’m Keren.

Dietitian in Ottawa

I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at the age of 16. I’ve experienced many flares throughout my life so I can relate to many of my clients’ struggles.

I’ve lived through being afraid to leave my house when I didn’t know the bathroom situation.

I understand what it’s like to be no longer able to eat your favourite foods.

I’ve experienced the isolation of living with an unmanaged digestive disorder.

I love helping people with digestive concerns, food intolerances and the low FODMAP diet because I’ve lived it. 

In addition to my experience living with a digestive disorder, I’ve also been a Registered Dietitian since 1998. I completed my Bachelor of Science in nutrition at McGill University and completed a year-long dietetic internship. I then went on to complete a Master’s degree in Health Administration. As a regulated healthcare professional, I’m required to complete continuing education, follow standards of practice, and remain current with the latest nutrition research.
